Something in the Bible that I've always found interesting is that a lion is used to describe both Jesus AND Satan. However, while in Satan's case, it is refering to how a lion stalks it's prey, waiting to strike; with Jesus, it's about his majesty and his authority. The lion is a symbol of power and authority as well as majesty and beauty!
But...I digress.

I especially like Luke 12:24 "Consider the ravens: They neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than birds?"

I like that one particularly because this verse is my family moto and the origin of our last name.
